TECHNICAL

Seeking new opportunities with new products or new markets and developing sound strategies to achieve sustainable growth, both in NZ and internationally. Forming partnerships, joint ventures and strategic alliances to facilitate growth, and seeking win/win opportunities. 

GOVERNANCE

Sound understanding of engineering principles, finance, supply chain management, and change processes, along with interpersonal communication and team decision making skills.

INTERNATIONAL/CULTURAL AWARENESS

Clear understanding of the requirements for sound governance, and the vital role of Directors in business leadership and overview.

Alister lived for over 4 years in Sri Lanka and 3 years in Thailand. He has also been involved in business/projects in other ASEAN countries, the Middle East and the United Kingdom. He has visited over 55 countries.
